Three original works of art by Jerome Tiger (1941-67) will be on display during July. He was born July 8, 1941 in Tahlequah, OK. He died August 13, 1967; and this year will be the 50th anniversary of his death. Jerome Tiger was an Creek-Seminole. He only painted for five years, but left a legacy of work. Three of his pieces are part of the Garis collection.
There is an admission charge to enter the Heritage Center & the Garis Gallery of the American West, which is where these pieces will be on display.
