Born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Faulkenberry has lived throughout the West. Known for her impressionistic approach to color and light, she is renowned for her plein air paintings of urban and rural landscapes as well as studio pieces of floral and still life. Her in-depth training was with noted Russian-born artist Sergei Bongart.. Her work is represented in many private and corporation collections and has shown in prestigious museums across the country. She is a signature member and past president of the Plein Air Painters of America, as well as a Master-signature member of America Women Artists.
Kelly Pennington was born in Ada, OK and has been a life-long resident within the surrounding area of Southern Oklahoma. Kelly creates beautiful paintings of landscapes and animals orchestrating interesting compositions with colorful painterly brushstrokes in a realistic style. She is motivated by nature and depicts the energy she feels among the colors and abstract shapes within a landscape. Kelly is gaining local attention as a professional artist and is now starting to branch out beyond her state competing in plein air competitions.
