Reading Down The Plains at Chisholm Trail Heritage Center

Reading Down The Plains and The Chisholm Trail Heritage Center invite you to hear storyteller and current Oklahoma Poet Laureate Jeanetta Calhoun Mish - Noon, Saturday, October 26, at the Heritage Center, 1000 Chisholm Trail Parkway (north of the Simmons Center).

Mish is visiting Duncan as part of her Fall 2019 Poet Laureate event tour. A scholar, poet and essayist, she will share some of her stories and afterward, there will be the regular open mic that Reading Down The Plains offers.

Mish inspires Oklahoma writers to find their stories, just as she has throughout her life. She's made a career out of telling the stories of Oklahoma people. She's authored numerous books.
