Mothers of Duncan (MoD), formerly known as Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) will have its December meeting on Monday, December 14th, 9-11 a.m. at First Baptist Church. It is a non-denominational group and any mom is welcome to attend.
This month we will be having a Christmas ornament exchange. Bring a wrapped ornament ($5 maximum) to participate! Also, please bring a photo of your child. We will be cutting out their face and gluing it to the outside of an ornament. Think of some special memories or milestones that your child has accomplished this year. We will be writing the accomplishments down on little strips of paper and then putting them inside the ornament, so that years down the road you can reminisce about your little one and the precious things that they have done.
Don’t miss this meeting! We will have goody bags for kids and door prizes for moms!
MoD meets the second Monday of each month. Childcare is provided and the moms enjoy snacks, fellowship with other Duncan area mothers, special presentations by guest speakers and many opportunities to do special projects for the community.
The registration fee is $20 and there are scholarships available for those who need help. This money goes to fund any community activities or special projects done throughout the year. Also, each monthly meeting has a $5 fee to cover the cost of childcare, crafts, snacks, etc.
Children are cared for in a nursery type setting provided by First Baptist Church .

December 14, January 11, February 8, March 8, April 12, and May 10.
